The ITSF Rules

The Rules of Foosball by Adrian Zamora, one of the head officials for International Table Soccer Federation.

Please excuse this video being filmed in 2007-08 on a different table other than a Fireball but all the rules are ITSF rules of play as of 2011. (I wasn't involved with Fireball yet for another 2 more years)

The first 2 video's are of the basic rules.

Chapter 2 - 9 are for more competitive play. Again, these rules are up to date as of 2011.

The Rules of Foosball, by Adrian Zamora, the basics, part 1

Part 2 of the basic Rules of Foosball

Chapter 2 starts the more in depth competitive rules

ITSF Rules
This is the start of more competitive play. These detailed rules are designed to provide all competitors an opportunity for an even playing experience.

Chapter 2 explains Rod areas, plus how to officially start a game, where to start the game and the Ready Protocol.

Chapter 3

AZ explains where the ball goes when the ball is struck off the table, how to restart the game and what is off the table, plus what is still a live ball.

Chapter 4

In this chapter, Adrian explains what is spinning, why is the rollover shot not considered a spin. Briefly explains the different ways of shooting shots, Euro pin, Rollover / Snake shot and palm roll or snake shot.
ITSF RULES
Lets see if you can tell which shot is a spin and when it is not.

Chapter 5

In this chapter, Adrian goes over the general rules of passing and the time. It finishes with 2 rod passing to the 5 rod.

Chapter 6

This chapter includes, the start of the match, time limits, alterations to the table and time outs. An important part of time per rod is gone over in detail. This section is finished up on distractions, resets and jarring.

Chapter 7

In this chapter, Adrian covers the rules surrounding League and other popular games. This one of the more interesting chapters, due to learning and  playing different games that can make table soccer more interesting.

Chapter 8

This Chapter wraps up the production with ads and credits. Adrian and I had a lot of great help.We would like for you to know who they were and for us to acknowledge that we loved their help and support.

Final, Chapter 9

Chapter 9, funny moments. We had a ton of fun and it shows. We wanted to laugh at ourselves, so enjoy laughing with us. Over 600 hours of work on this production. Some of it is less than perfect but so was the budget. Thanks for Watching, Brad Laurine
